Tonaki Island

Tonaki island is the island located 60kms off the westcoast of Okinawa mainland.

There are 3 dives sites there and you will see millions of colourful fishes and butterfly fishes by the steep drop-off, explore the underwater cave called "Blue Hole", and spot possibly around 20 green turtles. It is simply one of the best dive sites you can do a day trip from Okinawa mainland.

We go there several times during the summer.

Dive sites : Guruku no saki ("Corner"), Blue Hole, Angela Guchi

Depth : 15~30mtrs/45~100ft

Visibility : 20~35mtrs+

Recommended level : Advance and 30 logged dives. Comfortable with dark and overhead circumstances. We do drift dives at Tonaki.

Attractions : A healthy drop-off with countless tiny colourful fishes and butterfly fishes, white tip reef sharks, tuna, napoleon wrasse, blue fin trevally, white spotted eagle rays, an underwater cave and swim-throughs, green turtles, etc...
